25-7-2025 For five years I have been renting out this lovely cottage with great pleasure. Until last January I rented out the cottage as we took over from the previous owner. After an intensive renovation/metamorphosis, I have been renting out the cottage again since May 30 of this year. We made sure that the roof and outer walls are well insulated from the inside. Upstairs a toilet has been installed, downstairs there is floor heating everywhere, the bathroom and kitchen have been renewed. The new interior provides a true metamorphosis of our time. So it is wonderful to stay in our renovated cottage. The cottage is located next to the former town hall (is now a residential house which is rented) and was used as a fire house. Nature and surroundings
The area around Oosterhesselen is beautiful for hiking and cycling. Beautiful ash villages in the area with beautiful forests and nature reserves in between give the feeling of peace and you will fully enjoy this. Many nearby villages offer nice, cozy restaurants. Several supermarkets can be found near the cottage. Both indoor and outdoor swimming pools are nearby. For families, Wildlands, Plopsaland, Play Paradise Cowboy and Indians, Kabouterland Exloo are easy to drive from Oosterhesselen. In short, come and discover our beautiful surroundings in South East Drenthe.
