Nature house in Haaren

Time and again, we feel welcome there—and not just because of the bouquets of flowers that are waiting for us.
It took some searching to find the right Allen wrench to adjust the bike to the correct height, especially since the hosts were away at the time. The cottage smelled fresh and was nicely clean. It’s surprisingly cool, even with temperatures around 30 degrees.
I hope to spend many more vacations there with my friends.

We voelen ons, telkens weer, welkom aldaar, en niet alleen door de bosjes bloemen, die klaar staan.
Het was zoeken naar de juiste inbussleutel om de fiets op de juiste hoogte te stellen. Zeker omdat de gastheer en gast vrouw op dat moment even afwezig waren. Het huisje rook fris en was fijn schoon. Het is verrassend koel met temperaturen van rond de 30 graden.
Ik wens mezelf daar nog vele vriendinnen vakanties toe.

I’ve been coming to the Bergkristal—this nature house—for 30 years now. The peace and quiet in the beautiful garden, which leads right into a small grove on the property, is absolutely wonderful. Everything there is in tip-top shape. Comfortable beds, a spacious and very cozy living room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including spices, herbal teas, and more. Everything is very eco-friendly, with clear instructions for all the appliances and information about the surrounding area readily available.

Ik kom al 30 jaar in het Bergkristal; dit natuurhuisje. De rust in de prachtige tuin, met aansluitend een klein bosje op eigen terrein is super fijn. Alles is piekfijn in orde aldaar. Fijne bedden, ruime heel gezellige huiskamer. De keuken voorzien met alles wat er nodig is. ook kruiden, kruiden thee enz. Alles zeer milieu bewust, overal duidelijke uitleg van de apparatuur enz. met info over de omgeving voorhanden.

Last year, I stayed here for the first time with three friends. During the day, we helped harvest herbs at “Het Kruidenrijk,” which is nearby.
We came back this year, and we’re already looking forward to next year.
It’s fantastic here—so peaceful and spacious, surrounded by beautiful nature, and a very cozy cottage where we felt right at home. The beds are incredibly comfortable; waking up in the morning to the sound of birds chirping—the cottage is fully equipped with all the amenities. In the evening, we also enjoyed sitting behind the cottage, surrounded by beautiful nature, and playing a game that’s available in the cottage.
In short, it’s been a real pleasure to be here!

Vorig jaar voor t eerst met 3 vriendinnen hier overnacht Overdag hielpen we met kruiden oogsten bij ‘Het Kruidenrijk’ wat vlakbij is.
Dit jaar zijn we teruggekomen en we kijken alweer uit naar volgend jaar.
Het is hier fantastisch, wat n rust, ruimte, midden in de prachtige natuur en n heel fijn huisje waarin we ons meteen thuisvoelden. De bedden liggen heerlijk, ‘s morgens wakker worden met vogelgesjirp, het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook ‘s avonds nog lekker achter t huisje midden in de mooie natuur gezeten en n spelletje gespeeld wat ook in t huisje te vinden is.
Kortom, superfijn om hier te zijn!

What a charming little cottage in a beautiful location! You enter into a large, cozy kitchen that’s fully equipped with everything you need, including delicious organic coffee. The living room is large, with a high pitched ceiling, and is spacious and comfortably furnished. The beds can be placed apart from each other—there’s plenty of space. On the east side is a large garden with a colorful array of flowers, a pond, and a small patch of woods. Behind the garden is a cornfield. All kinds of birds are chirping, and there’s a pet chicken that loves company. The surroundings are beautiful (next time we’ll rent bikes). We were only there for two days and nights, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Wat een enig huisje op een mooie plek! Je komt binnen in een grote, gezellige keuken die van alles is voorzien, oa lekkere biokoffie. De woonkamer is groot, hoog puntdak en ruimtelijk en gezellig ingericht. De bedden kunnen van elkaar geplaatst worden, ruimte genoeg. Aan de achtwmerkant is een grote tuin met een bonte bloemenpracht, een vijver en een stukje bos. Achter de tuin is een maisveld. Allerlei vogels die kwetteren en een huiskip die van gezelligheid houdt. De omgeving is mooi (volgende keer fietsen huren) Wij waren maar 2 dagen en nachten maar hebben genoten!
