Located in the hidden gem that is the Stippelberg Nature Reserve—the largest forest complex in North Brabant—our nearly 100-year-old farmhouse is situated in the small village of De Rips in the Peel region. Our B&B is situated along hiking and cycling network routes, making it an excellent base for beautiful forest walks, cycling and mountain biking tours, horseback riding, golf, and motorcycling. We have three double bedrooms on the first floor, each with its own country-style bathroom. Downstairs, we also have a cozy guest lounge where we serve breakfast, complete with a bar, wood stove, TV, and free Wi-Fi. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy our garden with a veranda, pool house, outdoor restroom, sun terrace, and a jeu de boules court. Available for an additional fee and by reservation: infrared sauna, BBQ, hot tub, and massage. Our property offers views of the surrounding countryside. Enjoy the varied landscape—forests, heathland, and ponds—and experience the peace and open space. Note: Dogs are not permitted, nor are children under 12 years of age (infants are welcome).
Nature and surroundings
Our Bed & Breakfast is an excellent base for relaxing, athletic, and cultural activities in the Land van de Peel. Our farm is located next to the largest contiguous forest complex in North Brabant, called Stippelberg. Our farmhouse is surrounded by farmland in a rural area. From our B&B, you can walk toward the edge of the forest and join the blue hiking trail “Landgoed Stippelberg” maintained by Natuurmonumenten. The surrounding area offers numerous beautiful hiking, biking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails in the adjacent forests. Our B&B is also located along cycling and hiking junction routes and near the Hertogenpad, the Long-Distance Hiking Trail (LAW 13), and the LAW Peelrandbreuk route. Nearby you’ll also find the Stippelberg Golf Course, Natuurpoort Nederheide with its beach and the Wethouder Slits fishing pond. The nature reserves Heksenboom and De Peel are also worth a visit. In our surrounding area lie the Land van Cuijk, the Maasduinen, Maasheggen, Maashorst, the Maas Valley, and Rijk van Nijmegen.
