Welcome to our cabin. A very charming yet primitive place to stay for one or more days. There is a fireplace, table, chairs and a bed. The bed has a clean fitted sheet and the pillows clean pillowcases. You need to bring your own blankets. There is NO electricity and no water. There is a small camping toilet. There are some bottles of drinking water, apple juice and apple liqueur from our own orchard. The rest you have to organize yourself. As yet no cooking facilities. In short, a romantic place for nature lovers who love peace and quiet. Many walking and cycling opportunities. Ten minutes by bike to Maastricht and 15 to Valkenburg. Many fauna and flora around. The cabin is located in a meadow with fence. You are in the middle of nature, ie the distance to the nearby hamlet is 800 meters. P.s. the rooster has moved! P.s.thanks to Jacoline for the pictures!
Nature and surroundings
Nature house located on the Plateau of Margraten. The heart of the Mergelland region. All around there is a rich geological history. Sediments of 80 million years ago. Adjacent to a nature reserve with many birds, including the Eagle Owl. There is also a special flora to admire such as orchids.
