The detached barn behind the barn has been converted into a fully wheelchair-accessible lodging for up to four people with two companions. In the nature house there are two bedrooms with two electrically adjustable high/low beds or a double bed. The bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub/bathtub with electric bath elevator and a spacious, wheelchair-accessible shower, a low-level sink and toilet. Handholds and brackets are installed throughout and a bath chair is provided, among other things. The living space consists of a dining and sitting area and a small kitchenette. The space is equipped inside and out for wheelchair and/or walker use. Upstairs is a sleeping loft with two (extra) bedsteads, suitable for young people.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Drenthe. On the edge of forestry Gieten-Borger, between Gasselte and Anderen, is swimming pond 't Nije Hemelriek. Want to explore the woods? Rent a bike or get in your legs for a brisk walk. Don't forget to visit the Boomkroonpad and, in winter, the Pixi trail.
