Nature house in Ommen

It was a good, comfortable and spacious nature house. There were two of us though, and the TV repeatedly fell out. The owner was very helpful in this regard.

Het was een goed, comfortabel en ruim natuurhuisje. We waren wel met z'n tweeën.

De tv viel herhaaldelijk uit. De eigenaar was daarbij heel behulpzaam.

It is a beautiful area with lots of hiking and biking opportunities. We find the questioning confusing: is this exclusively about the area or about the nature house?

Het is een prachtige omgeving met heel veel wandel- en fietsmogelijkheden.

De vraagstelling vinden wij verwarrend: gaat het hier uitsluitend over de omgeving of over het natuurhuisje?

Besides the fine cottage, the surroundings are definitely worth it! The forest is a five-minute walk and you can also walk to the Koeiensafari nearby where you can have a nice lunch or a drink overlooking the meadows. Great bike paths and a boat trip is really worth it. Furthermore, there are several nice towns in the area. Ommen is also very cozy and worth a visit. For us it was very pleasant to stay there despite the fact that we could not cycle and had to do things by car. And great for the dog to walk in the area.

Naast het fijne huisje is de omgeving zeker de moeite waard! Het bos is op vijf minuten lopen en je kunt ook lopen naar de Koeiensafari daar vlakbij waar je lekker kan lunchen of wat drinken met uitzicht op de weilanden.
Prima fietspaden en een boottochtje is echt de moeite waard. Verder zijn er diverse leuke stadjes in de omgeving. Ommen is ook heel gezellig en de moeite waard.
Ook voor ons was het heel aangenaam om daar te verblijven ondanks dat we niet konden fietsen en het e.e.a. met de auto moesten doen. En heerlijk voor de hond om in de omgeving te wandelen.

The cottage was fine! It is adjacent to the farm, but that does not bother you at all. All the amenities were there and everything was clean and tidy. The first bedroom was nice and spacious, but also the second bedroom is adequate with the double bed, even if it is a bit smaller. There is a coffee maker for coffee cups in the kitchen which is nice and spacious. And the dining and living room is also spacious So you feel right at home. Also nice with underfloor heating and possibly for extra heat there is also a gas heater. Also for the dog it was a wonderful place with the fenced garden and also the underfloor heating is of course pleasant when it would be very cold. Not to mention the hospitality of Ton and Jeannette! If there was anything (the TV that suddenly did nothing for example), they were immediately ready to help.

Het huisje was prima! Het grenst aan de boerderij, maar daar heb je verder helemaal geen last van. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig en alles was schoon en netjes. De eerste slaapkamer was lekker ruim, maar ook de tweede slaapkamer voldoet goed met het tweepersoonsbed, ook al is het wat kleiner. Er staat een koffiezetapparaat voor koffiecupjes in de keuken die lekker ruim is. En de eet- en woonkamer is ook ruim
Dus je voelt je gelijk helemaal thuis. Ook lekker met vloerverwarming en eventueel voor extra warmte is er ook nog een gaskachel.
Ook voor de hond was het een heerlijke plek met de omheinde tuin en ook de vloerverwarming is natuurlijk prettig als het heel koud zou zijn.
Niet te vergeten de gastvrijheid van Ton en Jeannette! Als er wat was (de tv die ineens niets deed bijvoorbeeld), ze stonden gelijk klaar om te helpen.

The surroundings are beautiful, the cottage comfortable and clean, However two bottlenecks. 1. The advertisement stated that there was a bunk bed, which turned out to be a double bed. For our adult children not so nice, our son therefore slept on the couch. 2. On the second day there was a very noisy party by the tenant's son. Nothing was said about this beforehand. Only at 01.00, after complaining about the nuisance, it became slightly quieter. Therefore does not fit with the experience of a nature house.

De omgeving is prachtig, het huisje comfortabel en schoon, Echter tweetal knelpunten.
1. In de advertentie stond dat er een stapelbed was, dat bleek een twijfelaar te zijn. Voor onze volwassen kinderen niet zo fijn, onze zoon sliep daarom op de bank.
2. Op de tweede dag was er een zeer luidruchtig feest van de zoon van der huurder. Vooraf was daar niets over gezegd. Pas om 01.00, na klagen over de overlast, werd het iets rustiger. Past daardoor niet bij beleving van een natuurhuisje
