This nature house is a very quiet cottage in the backyard of a residential house/shop. In summer the garden is also used as a tea garden. The cozy cottage has its own access and is equipped with all modern comforts. It is all electric: heating, air conditioning, cooking, etc. The private terrace offers a lot of privacy and faces south. Its location allows you to enjoy the sun almost all year round. At the rear, the cottage borders on through fishing and boating water. Here is the possibility to moor a boat. At the nearby campsite in the village, whisper boats can be rented. From the cottage you have a view of the water and the meadows behind, where deer and roe deer roam freely. Next to the cottage is a chicken house, where our chickens, without rooster live. From the bedroom you can see them scampering around. From the terrace you have a view of the flower garden.
Nature and surroundings
Oostwoud is a small ribbon village in the region of West Friesland, located in the tip of North Holland. The village is a nice base for beautiful cycling routes to other villages located nearby. The old towns of Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Hoorn are within 20 minutes by car and here you can indulge yourself as a culture lover. Amsterdam is also nearby and easy to reach by car or by train from Hoorn.(30 minutes) There is also plenty to do for nature lovers. The IJsselmeer is a stone's throw away. Oostwoud is surrounded by lots of water with all its possibilities: swimming, boating fishing etc. Many guests also go towards the North Sea beach and Texel.
