The nature house "Tureluur" is part of an authentic Texel farmhouse and offers a spacious view over the farmlands. The living room has a sitting area and a dining area. The open kitchen has a refrigerator, gas stove and microwave. The spacious bathroom has a shower. There is a separate toilet. Upstairs is the bedroom with a double bed and a room with two single beds for children (unfortunately we can not accommodate 4 adults). A camp bed is available. At the large picnic table or patio chairs you can relax with a view of nature. Bedding and towels are provided. You can check in yourself. The entrance is to the left of the farmhouse, first door. Nature and surroundings
The Wadden side of Texel has a very different atmosphere, no tourist crowds but an oasis of peace and space on our organic estate/ orchard, a nature plot where we sow wild herbs and plants. Our yard and garden are an oasis for insects and wild birds. We cater to nature lovers who love peace and quiet. The nature house is one hundred meters from the World Heritage Site of the Wadden Sea. A bicycle route along the dike takes you past several special nature reserves that are important breeding and foraging areas for numerous birds. On the way to the fishing village of Oudeschild there is a beach where you can take a refreshing dip in the salty water. The vacation home is located 1 kilometer from the picturesque village of Oosterend. The historic village has a supermarket, a bicycle rental and a number of cozy eateries. In front of our door is a stop of the Texelhopper that takes you to and from the ferry.

We spent a wonderful couple of days at Oostkaap 10, a 3-minute walk from the Lancasterdijk, with sweeping views of the Wadden Sea and the sounds of birds chirping and squawking in the Wagejot.
