Tranquility, Space and Recreation. The woodshed has 6 bedrooms (18 beds). Downstairs 2 bedrooms of 2 persons with shower and toilet, including 1 disabled shower and toilet and upstairs another 4 bedrooms 3 of 4 and 1 of 2 persons also all with bathroom with shower, toilet and laundry room. You will also find a well-equipped kitchen, a dining/living room with 2 tables and luxury dining chairs and a sofa, a color TV with satellite connection. The Houtschuur is located on the same property as 2 more houses, the Hofstee and the Borgstee. The Houtschuur has a private terrace with patio furniture and a playground and sports field. All accommodations have free wifi. For common use there is also a beach volleyball court, a table tennis table, a recreational tennis court, a jeu-de-boules court. This house is not suitable for groups (young people) who come here to party noisily.
Nature and surroundings
Haaksbergen is a nice shopping village with cozy restaurants and not to forget the Museum Buurtspoorweg with several old steam locomotives. In Enschede and Hengelo you may find culture, theater and cozy cafes. Nearby you will also find indoor and outdoor playgrounds, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a recreational lake with beach, bowling alleys in Germany, go-kart track and an ice rink. Buurse is also near the German border, go once across the border a totally different experience. Furthermore, you can of course beautiful hiking and cycling in the Buurserzand, Haaksbergerveen, Buurserveen and the Witte Veen. We are within walking distance of the nature reserve. And within cycling distance of the most beautiful cycle paths in Twente and Germany. Less than 100 meters away is a mountain bike trail.
