Nature house in Valthe

This guesthouse is a place to slow down and unwind. Enjoy the landscape of Drenthe, where silence and space are self-evident. The accommodation is completely on the ground floor and furnished with a sense of atmosphere and style. Parking is available on private property. Inside you will find a living area with sitting area, dining area and a fitted kitchen. The kitchen has an induction hob, refrigerator, combination microwave, dishwasher, Senseo coffee machine and kettle. All the usual kitchen utensils are provided. There is a separate bedroom with two comfortable box-spring beds and a modern bathroom with shower, sink and a separate toilet. Bed linen and towels are included. The cottage is located next to our house, but offers plenty of privacy. You have a private terrace at the back, where you can quietly wake up with a cup of coffee in the morning and end the day in the evening as the sun slowly sinks. I am kim, your hostess. The guesthouse is located in the Drenthe village of Valthe, an attractive village with characteristic Saxon farmhouses. The landscape around Valthe consists of open ashes, old dirt roads and forest edges. Here you can enjoy nature, space and peace all year round. Within walking distance are the dolmens and the Valtherbos, a quiet forest where you can take lovely walks. In the immediate vicinity you will find plenty of walking and cycling routes. Valthe is part of the UNESCO Global Geopark De Hondsrug, a unique area with varied nature, quiet paths and ancient history. In the village there are several restaurants and a bakery, where you can buy bread and pastries as well as various local products. For daily shopping you can go to the nearby village of Odoorn, 3km away.
