This nature house is a fantastic place with a lovely garden and surroundings and many possibilities. When requesting always message in chat for good consultation on number of bedrooms, time of arrival, wishes like meals/bike hire. We love nature lovers and people with children's hearts. The guest house is a separate part at the front of our house with its own entrance through the front door and has its own bathroom and toilet. In your large living room downstairs is a simple kitchenette with two hotplates, cold water, a dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker and refrigerator. If desired, we can provide breakfast/dinner for a fee. Washing, drying and folding clothes can be done for a fee. When you arrive there is contact for key exchange. Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on the edge of a tiny village in a rural wooded surrounding between Roden and Paterswolde. We live on the Jacobspad and it is beautiful walking along the Peizerdiepje or cycling or walking in the wooded area of the Mensinghebos in Roden (the old Stuw) and the Noordsche Veld and the Langeloërduinen near Norg. To the north lie the fields of Peizermade through which you can enjoy cycling to the city of Groningen. To the northwest lies the scenic beauty of Nietap and the Leekstermeer. A paradise for bird lovers and nature lovers and children. Around the house is a large garden, vegetable garden and a small forest with a winding path that leads to the puppet theater of Johanneke in the back house. In the grove I am building a theater house where I have painted a fresco on the back wall (see photos). During your stay, children may build a hut in the grove or in bad weather inside in the attic by arrangement.

Nature, peace & environment:Lovely cozy cottage, and Johanneke is a very hospitable host! We sat here with our 3 children and enjoyed the puppet theater, baking together and chopping wood. Heerlijk knus huisje, en Johanneke is een hele gastvrije host! Wij hebben hier met onze 3 kinderen gezeten en genoten van het poppentheater, samen staan bakken en hout staan hakken.
