Nature house in Altena

This nature house is a fantastic place with a lovely garden and surroundings and many possibilities. Upon request please message in chat for proper consultation i.e. time of arrival, wishes such as meals or bike rental. We love nature lovers and people with children's hearts. The guesthouse is a separate part at the front of our house with its own entrance through the front door and has its own bathroom and toilet. In your large living room downstairs is a simple kitchenette with two hotplates, cold water, a dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker and refrigerator. If desired, we can provide breakfast/dinner for a fee. Washing, drying and folding clothes can be done for a fee. When you arrive there is contact for key exchange. In the chat you can inquire about performances in the puppet theater and creative language lessons Italian, English or Dutch. Welcome! I myself live and work at the back of the house. There is no noise pollution.

The nature house is located on the edge of a tiny village in a rural wooded surrounding between Roden and Paterswolde. We live on the Jacobspad and it is beautiful walking along the Peizerdiepje or cycling or walking in the wooded area of the Mensinghebos in Roden (the old Stuw) and the Noordsche Veld and the Langeloërduinen near Norg. To the north lie the fields of Peizermade through which you can enjoy cycling to the city of Groningen. To the northwest lies the scenic beauty of Nietap and the Leekstermeer. A paradise for bird lovers and nature lovers and children. Around the house is a large garden, vegetable garden and a small forest with a winding path that leads to the puppet theater of Johanneke in the back house. In the grove I am building a theater house where I have painted a fresco on the back wall (see photos). During your stay, children may build a hut in the grove or in bad weather inside in the attic by arrangement.
