Nature and surroundings
Van Ewijcksluis is a harbor town on the Amstel Lake, which is also used for camping, swimming, fishing and surfing. There is room to launch a boat. Forest and beach are 10 to 15 km away. Beautiful base for a day out on Texel. Adjacent to cycling and hiking routes. Stores at 5 km distance. It is nice and quiet here in the village with less than 300 inhabitants.
