The cottage itself has everything you need for a short stay.
Plenty of outdoor space, a beautiful view of a meadow. Silence… broken only by the sounds of birds.
Veel ruimte buiten, mooi uitzicht over een weiland. Stilte…alleen verbroken door vogelgeluiden.

The cottage was fully equipped and very cleverly laid out. Nice furniture, too—no old junk and no (well, maybe a little) IKEA. We were really happy with the screen doors on the smaller windows: we could leave them open all night. It’s just a 15-minute bike ride to Ruinen, which was convenient for shopping, dining out, and we even caught a market once.
I never give a 10 because, let’s face it, what’s perfect? Maybe the slightly lower score is also because I’m bummed we only stayed for such a short time ;-).Het huisje was van alle gemakken voorzien en heel slim ingedeeld.
The cottage is located at the back of a spacious and quiet yard—the yard of a thatched farmhouse on a very quiet street. From the terrace and through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area, all you see is greenery—trees, flowers, meadows, corn in the distance, and beyond that, more fields and trees. Oh, and a crooked wooden fence. Lovely. I enjoyed the silence at night (and during the day, too).
I saw cats and birds, but I wouldn’t be surprised if deer or hares came by.
I was a little worried about the “manure silo”—it is a bit of a strange idea, after all. But the cottage immediately feels familiar and natural, and is very cozy with its sloped wooden-beam roof.
This text is automatically translated. -

What a special experience to spend a few days in a beautiful apartment in a former manure silo. The apartment is tastefully decorated and fully equipped. We were warmly welcomed by Jantiene, our hostess.
In the pasture behind the farm, there’s a mother sheep and her two adorable lambs. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
