We hebben veel gelezen en op de niet-regenachtige dagen zijn we naar Winterberg, Willingen en de Buchhauser Steine geweest, dat laatste was ook zeer de moeite waard. De gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk. Wij hebben de vouwfietsen in de auto gelaten, maar er is in de buurt een Sauerlandradring van 70 km die over oude treinrails loopt en dus prima te doen is. En houd je van mountainbiken, dan kan je naar het Erlebnispark in Winterberg, maar liefst 5 verschillende routes, ingedeeld naar niveau. De expertroute zag er heel uitdagend uit...!
