This Nature House is located directly on the lake with very clean and clear swimming water. You can enjoy swimming and fishing. The chalet is located on a lane with 5 other cottages that share a jetty. There is no central heating and in the winter months it can be cold and damp. There are 2 oil stoves and a wood stove in the living room. In the damp winter months there can be a musty smell in the bedrooms. At the campsite reception you have to register and pay the overnight fee of 4.00 pp per night + car 3.00 (excl VAT). I like to welcome my guests personally, I like to share this beautiful place with others and like it when others can enjoy it too. There is no TV and wifi available. Guests should bring their own bedding and towels. In case this is not possible (e.g. cycling vacation) this can be rented for 10 Euro per set.

The lake is 26 meters deep and it is 1 of the cleanest swimming waters in the Netherlands. You can swim and the first 15 meters from the jetty is shallow (knee height). You can walk around the lake. And on the Lekdijk along the floodplains towards Fort Everdingen or Vianen is also stunningly beautiful. From Culemborg is a nice ferry to the other side of the Lek.

The necessary was done, but there was a lot of dust under the beds, the windows were dirty, the terrace was not swept. Apart from that, we enjoyed the beautiful place and the beautiful surroundings. We were allowed to use the canoe, which was very nice.
Het huisje was niet schoon genoeg voor verhuur. Het noodzakelijke was gedaan, maar er was veel stof onder de bedden, de ramen waren vies, het terras was niet aangeveegd. Afgezien daarvan hebben we genoten van de mooie plek en de mooie omgeving. We mochten de kano gebruiken, dat was erg leuk.

Heerlijke omgeving, prachtig meer met zwemwater voor jong en oud. Zeer genoten van het huisje, BBQ (wel aan vervanging toe), houtkachel, ruime vertrekken... vriendelijke campinggasten/medewerkers.
Klein ongemak met het beddengoed maar werd snel opgelost door goede en snelle communicatie met Jeroen, Erg prettig.
Omdat je aan het water zit...houdt wel rekening met spinnen..
