This nature house is located in the beautiful Belgian Voer region, surrounded by hills with varying forests and valleys with orchards. This special half-timbered cottage is built of natural materials such as loam and oak. The cottage offers a private terrace and a large private garden adjacent to the owner's property. The garden is completely fenced. Downstairs is the entrance hall and the living room with a lovely wood stove and a comfortable sitting area whose sofa could possibly be a double sofa bed. An authentic, steep cast iron spiral staircase leads to the first floor at garden level with the garden door to the terrace. In this room there is a cozy dining table and an old-fashioned bedstead. On the street side is the kitchen, fully equipped, and the bathroom with toilet. The loft has two single beds, suitable for children. The rental includes bath towels, kitchen towels and bed linen. (Our cottage is rented for a long weekend, midweek or week)
Nature and surroundings
Many walking and cycling routes start directly at the nature house. On quiet country roads, hollow roads and sometimes steep forest paths you walk along beautiful vistas with hedges, standard orchards, old pollarded trees, springs and flowing streams. Discover the breathing silence of nature in the forest. Also in the vicinity you can discover cultural-historical elements, unique for the Voer-region: such as castles, quarries, monumental farms, crosses and chapels. Want to make more cultural explorations? Maastricht, Aachen and Liège are 25 kilometers away.
