This is a compact, complete and authentic nature house in the middle of Terschelling's nature. A cozy living room where you can sit with company around the wood stove on a stormy evening, a fully equipped kitchen, five beds and two workstations (one equipped with a separate monitor). From the living room and any point in the garden you have a unique view of the vast polder towards the mud flats. The house comes with 2300m2 of land, where there are several opportunities to merge yourself with nature. Read a book in the hammock, draw a picture at the picnic table, play a game on the scaffoldwood bench or enjoy the stars while sitting in the wood-fired hot tub. The nature house was built in 1941 as one of the first vacation homes on this part of the island.
Nature and surroundings
The forest, dunes and polder, each with its own characteristic nature experience, are just steps away from the cottage. From the living room you have an unobstructed view over the polder towards the wadden dike. The nature house is located on 2300m2 private property. In spring and autumn there are sometimes a few weeks a few horses on the back of the property. Within 10 minutes cycling you are on the beach or in the village. At the end of the plot are some bee hives.
