Nature house in Smakt

The nature house is located in the middle of forest area boshuijzen, located on our private estate. This is a new modern "passive" house from 2019. The house is split into three studios with their own entrance and private outdoor spaces from where you can walk straight into the forest. The studio we offer is partly below mowing level. The studio has an (open) complete kitchen, living room with dining table, (open) bedroom, shower and toilet and terrace outside. The house has an open bedroom with a bed of 1.80x2.00 meters, in addition there is a sofa bed for two persons in the living room. The house has underfloor heating and cooling by means of a heat pump. On our property there is also a playground for children. Parking is available (free of charge) in the parking lot fifty meters from the house.

Between the river Maas and the town of Venray is a large natura 2000 area Boshuijzen/ Geysteren. There are several hiking trails here and the Pieterpad also runs through here. On the other side of the Maas lies the Maasduinen nature reserve. Rare animals and plants are found in these nature reserves. Entertainment for young people is also nearby, water sports on the Maas or amusement park Toverland. On the south side of the estate is a golf course.
