Nature house in Nykroppa

Our vacation home is surrounded by Swedish nature, offering peace, space, a forest right in the backyard, and a lake within walking distance. In our modern and cozy vacation home, you won’t have to compromise on comfort. A home with a fresh Scandinavian look. You’ll quickly feel right at home. Upon arrival, you’ll find the beds made and all appliances—including a washing machine, dishwasher, and combination microwave—at your disposal. There’s a trampoline in the yard. A small playground and a lake with a beach are within walking distance. There are 3 bicycles and 2 children’s bikes available. A canoe with life jackets can be transported to the lake (200 meters) using a cart.Both the bicycles and the canoe are stored between our two adjacent houses. Guests from both houses are welcome to use them. Our house is located in the heart of Sweden, in Värmland. It’s a great starting point for experiencing and exploring Sweden. For daily groceries, there’s a supermarket a 12-minute drive away. The towns of Kristinehamn, Karlskoga, Karlstad, and Örebro are also worth a visit.

We have a beautiful home, but we’d also like to invite you to explore the area. Our home is located in the heart of Sweden, surrounded by forests and lakes. There are many hiking and canoeing trails. Here, you’ll experience the real Sweden. Enjoy the peace and quiet, and you might even be rewarded with a sighting of a moose, fox, crane, or other forest creature that calls this Swedish landscape home. Discover the Bergslagen region, known for its mining and metal industry. There are several museums and attractions to explore. It’s also a lot of fun and educational for children. A visit to the Bergslagen Canals is definitely worth your while—a system of lakes connected by canals and locks. You’ll find even more opportunities to experience nature in the area at Högbergsfältet and Brattforsheden. Sports enthusiasts can head to Kalhyttan on the outskirts of Filipstad. In the summer, you can go mountain biking, Nordic walking, and disc golf there. Trails have been built for various sports. In the winter, there’s a ski trail, and they offer winter activities.
