Nature house in Genk

My cozy colorful sleeping cottage is located on the outskirts of Genk in the front part of my long-gabled farmhouse. This ad is for 4 persons in 2 bedrooms. If you want to come with 6 persons please have a look at my other advertisement. On the ground floor there is a breakfast/living kitchen, living room and a separate toilet. On the second floor there are the blue and the green bedroom at the front of the farmhouse. At the back is the bathroom. My studio is located between the sleeping cottage and my private rooms and here you can follow workshops, The farmhouse has been renovated over the years as authentic as possible, the wooden floors creak and the stairs are steep, but that belongs to an old farmhouse. Most of the things in the house are handicrafts, knick-knacks and knick-knacks and are refurbished in my own workshop where you are always welcome to come and have a browse. There is no TV, and the wifi is still being worked on, but there are books and games in the house, so you are also once REALLY AWAY from everything.

My farm is situated on a plot of over 6000m2 and borders on nature reserve Schemmersberg. Zonhoverheide, Bokrijk and nature reserve De Teut are just a stone's throw away, so hours of walking and cycling are guaranteed! Outside I am still working hard, A vegetable garden is under construction, but the herbs are already in front. The lettuce too, but usually the deer have got hold of those. The farm is on the edge of a quiet residential area and is not visible from the street, this provides the necessary privacy. In Genk itself there is also plenty to do culturally, C-MINE, LABIOMISTA and THOR park are close by. Good food can be found in the Vennestraat where there is a melting pot of different cultures to discover.
