Nature house in Rotterdam

Upon arrival there is a pedal boat waiting where your wonderful weekend begins! 100 meters of stairs and you arrive at our island with the beautiful wooden cabin. Tastefully decorated and fully equipped. On 46 m2 you will find a large kitchen, breakfast bar and lovely lounge sofa with a home cinema. The nature house has underfloor heating and a wood stove! There are two 2 bedrooms both with access to the bathroom and to the terrace.On 100 m2 of decking you will find sun somewhere all day and also somewhere in the shade. Start the day at the picnic table, drink coffee on the lounge sofa or in the hammock. Jump in the pond for a swim, or get in the electric sloop for a tour of the lakes. (Our electric boat can be rented for 60 Euro per day, not including arrival and departure day) End the day on the long couch, with a nice fire and maybe a BBQ or homemade pizza. Or light the fire inside and watch a series on the big screen!

Right outside the door of the nature house is the Achterplas, the Voorplas and through the lock the Rotte. Swimming, boating, pedal boats are all possible. Or Plaswijckpark of course! The Bergse Achterplas is an old peat excavation on the northern edge of Rotterdam.Turn left on the Straatweg and you will enter the old village of Hilligersberg, with cozy cafes, stores, supermarkets and the old Hillagondakerk. If you turn right, you are soon in Rotterdam Noord with stores on Zwart-Janstraat, cafes on Noordplein, or walk along the old canals. Within fifteen minutes you are in the middle of the city, with the beautiful river, museums and our own street, the Witte de With!
