Nature house in Haaksbergen

On the outskirts of the Twente village of Haaksbergen, on the border of the beautiful hiking and nature reserve, lies a farmyard. The first record of the erve dates back to 1188. Since then it has been the property of hofh, making it the oldest erf of this village and its surroundings. On the erf stands the national monumental farm from 1824, whose trusses date from the 16th century. There are also 2 outbuildings from 1832 and early 1900. This last building is the nature house, completely renovated in 2019. This nature house is right next to the farmhouse. A spacious room has been created on the first floor as of 2019, which can be rented as a B&B or vacation rental. The home features 2 separate bedrooms, each with a double bed. There is a spacious living room, full kitchen and a washing machine.

The nature house is located between the nature reserves "Het Lankheet", "Het Buurserveen" and "Het Haaksbergs veen". Right next to the yard are several sports facilities, for soccer, field hockey, athletics, rollerblading / skating and the swimming pool De Wilder, named after our own yard. Within walking distance you will find several restaurants, a petting zoo, a golf course and a monumental water mill.
