The farmhouse offers plenty of space and is equipped with all the amenities and luxuries you need for a delightful and carefree stay. The farmhouse is warmly and cozily furnished. The open kitchen is fully equipped. The living room features a cozy fireplace. There is Wi-Fi, a bean-to-cup coffee maker, a TV, and a Bluetooth speaker. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed (180x190) and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. Upstairs is a bedroom with two double beds—180x210 and 140x200 (fold-out bed)—and a private sitting area. There is a second toilet on the landing. The nature house offers a beautiful view. In the large garden with a pond, you can enjoy listening to the birds singing. Roe deer, hares, and pheasants are frequently spotted. The cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful region.

This stunning nature reserve features a variety of landscapes, including rugged grasslands, ponds, heathlands, mixed forests, and rolling farmland. Who knows—you might even come across a flock of sheep or grazing Hereford cattle along the way. You can enjoy the most beautiful (cross-border) biking and hiking trails in all seasons. Mountain bikers can also have a blast here. The village of Buurse is 1 km away. There are restaurants and cafes in and around the village. The Rutbeek Recreation Park is within cycling distance. A fun outing is a ride on the classic steam train between Haaksbergen and Boekelo to visit the Salt Museum there. The lively city of Enschede is 13 km away.
