Our sunny renovated Chalet (2024) The nature house is located on a plot of 575 m², in the middle of the forest near Lanaken (Gellik) Belgium. Less than 9 km from Maastricht where we live. The property borders the National Park Hoge Kempen where nature lovers can enjoy walking, cycling, horseback riding etc. Because the forest consists of high birch trees and ditto conifers, the sun and numerous animals such as woodpeckers and squirrels have free play. Dogs are also very welcome and are free to join us (max 2). Note that the garden is not fenced, but there is an infinite amount of walking area.

The activities are countless: from cycling, hiking, horseback riding etc. Or a city trip to Maastricht (less than 9 km.) There is also a super cozy tavern on site where you can eat or drink at a reasonable price and snack, in the summer the tavern has a large terrace. The owners are dog lovers so dogs are welcome here! With 20 min walk you come to a stream where you can have a picnic or walk with your feet in the water.
