Highly recommended if you want to unwind, yet it is only a 15 min drive to Alkmaar town.

Echt een aanrader als je tot rust wilt komen, maar toch is het maar 15 min rijden naar Alkmaar stad.

Super ervaring met deze plek, goed tot rust gekomen op een luxe plek. En een heerlijke welnes plein!

It was a beautiful place, wonderfully quiet. What I did find a bit of a strange construction was the use of the sauna, that you have to pay separately per day. 60 euros first day and the following days 40 euros per day. we are real sauna goers but found this is a bit too much. Suppose you want to go to the sauna after a day of cycling, then you might use the sauna 2 or 3 times, 60 euros. Then the next day another 40 euro etc. By the way, this was mentioned on the site, but I had overlooked that, only saw that later. Ws I had not booked if I had seen that eedre. but nevertheless we have had a few nice days. What is also a bit strange that a midweek here on Tuesday begins and not on Monday, not really a whole midweek so.

Het was een prachtige plek, heerlijk rustig. Wij hebben genoten. wat ik wel een beetje een vreemde constructie vond was het gebruik van de sauna, dat je dat per dag apart moet betalen. 60 euro eerste dag en de dagen erna 40 euro per dag. wij zijn echte sauna gangers maar vond dit toch wel wat te bont worden. Stel dat je na een dagje fietsen nog even in de sauna wil, dan ga je misschien 2 of 3 keer gebruik van de sauna maken, 60 euro. Dan de volgende dag weer 40 euro etc. Dit stond trouwens wel vermeld op de site, maar ik had dat over het hoofd gezien, zag dat pas later. Ws had ik niet geboekt als ik dat eedre had gezien. maar desalniettemin hebben wij een paar fijne dagen gehad.
Wat trouwens ook wel een beetje vreemd is dat een midweek hier op dinsdag begint en niet op maandag, niet echt een hele midweek dus.

Everything has been thought of, and everything is comfortable and of quality. Only ini-minus is that because of the super good insulation it can be very hot inside when the sun shines, so you need to air out in the evenings when you want to go to bed. For the rest just perfect!

Aan alles is gedacht, en alles zit lekker en is van kwaliteit. Enige ini-minpuntje is dat het door de super goede isolatie ook erg warm kan worden binnen als de zon schijnt, waardoor je in de avonden ook goed moet doorluchten als je naar bed wil. Voor de rest gewoon perfect!

A nice cottage that is fenced off with a large fence / hedge where you have your own spot to unwind! There is plenty of room to sit / lie / stand where you want, with a private wellness plaza that completes the experience. We enjoyed the weekend immensely the peace and freedom!

Een lekker huisje die is afgezet met een grote schutting / heg waar je lekker je eigen plekkie hebt om tot rust te komen! Er is veel ruimte om te zitten / liggen / staan waar je wil, met een eigen wellnesspleintje die de ervaring helemaal afmaakt. Wij hebben in het weekend ontzettend genoten van de rust en vrijheid!
