In the beautiful Reest valley you will find this nice (B&B) nature house for 2 persons, next to the farmhouse. The living room, kitchen and bedroom are in an open space on the ground floor. In a closed space you will find the bathroom (shower / sink / toilet). The living room has French doors to the private terrace, where you have a beautiful view of the orchard and the Limosin bulls in the Drents Landscape. The nature house can be rented for min. 3 nights, and you will stay here on a self-catering basis. You may bring your own kitchen and towels, or book with us. You can order delicious local products for breakfast when you book (you can enjoy them for several days). We provide fresh bread for 2 days. So you can have breakfast at your own time. We have 2 electric bicycles. Cost per bike (on the spot) €18,- p day, €35,- 2 days; €50,- for 3 days; €65,- per week.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house in Drenthe is located in a yard next to our farmhouse, in the middle of the meadows in the basin of the Reest, which meanders from Dedemsvaart to Meppel on the border of Drenthe and Overijssel. It is a unique area for cycling and walking. From the cottage you can cycle or walk straight to the heath and woods. Every season you experience more when you live "outside" like this. The wind, the stars, the silence, the singing of the birds, sunrise and sunset, the animals around the farm; it is truly a different experience of the here and now. If you are looking for nature, silence and space, you have come to the right place. Nearby villages and towns: Veeningen (5km); Zuidwolde (7km); De Wijk (7km); Balkbrug (7km); Staphorst (10km); Meppel (17km); Zwolle (30km). There are outdoor swimming pools nearby and also a swimming pond (Staphorst) within cycling distance.
