Nature house in Meerkerk

In Meerkerk is this romantic, spacious loft with studio space above. The loft is located in the largest old hay barn of the Alblasserwaard, and offers a wonderfully quiet accommodation. Whether you want to relax here, go hiking, cycling, or visit towns and villages: all the ingredients for a wonderful stay are present. The main room of this nature house is a large open space (loft). Partly because of the high ceiling and lots of wood, it is a very pleasant place to stay. On the sous-vide we have arranged a cozy double sleeping area. The bathroom of this nature house is located in a separate room though. The upstairs additional room is also particularly spacious. It was previously used as a studio and office. Here there are 6 skylights with a beautiful view over the meadows. Outside you can use our spacious front yard. There is a place to eat or work outside and a cozy (fishing) seat by the water.

The nature house is located on the Broekseweg; a dried up meandering peat river that is now a paved road. There is much to experience culturally in the neighborhood. For example, there are several historic villages, towns and winding roads that are very worthwhile. A little further on, an ice cream farm can be enjoyed. In the Alblasserwaard there are numerous hiking and cycling routes, such as the Zouweboezem. This is a beautiful nature reserve full of reed beds and special birds. The Tiendweg, the Lekdijk and Noordeloos are also beautiful locations.
