In the yard of a restored, old farmhouse, a comfortable guesthouse is set up in a typical Drenthe barn. This unique spot is located on the Hoogeveensche Vaart, which can be rowed. In the yard you are regularly welcomed by our Benne Senners, who love to be petted. By the way, they have their own outside enclosure which can be closed off from the yard. The nature house has its own entrance and can be occupied without contact. Above the living room is a loft where one can sleep and shower. From bed one can watch the sun rise over the fields in the morning. In the cottage is a well-equipped kitchen with a washer / dryer combination. Through double doors you look straight into the garden. The garden offers a beautiful sight every season. Attached to the living room is the terrace and deeper into the garden is a private seat, so you can always sit in the sun or in the shade.
Nature and surroundings
From your accommodation you can directly start several beautiful biking and hiking tours. Across the canal lies the village of Echten, with a teahouse in a historic building. Behind it begins the forest, in which the Echtens Paradijs is located. For children there is a specially constructed play forest with a gnome trail. Mountain bike trails have recently been constructed as well as a beautiful bike path through the forest. 5 km away is the cozy center of Zuidwolde and 7.5 km away is the town of Hoogeveen with a railway station. The Brinkdorpje Ruinen is 12.5 km away and who wants to go to the Dwingelderheide must bridge some 23 km. In the vicinity are several restaurants in all price ranges. In Echten is the Naoberhoeve, an organic picking garden where you can harvest your own vegetables or just get them in the store.

Erg prettige plek om te verblijven
Wijds , ruime vergezichten, zeer afwisselt landschap; kleine, grote boerenpercelen en bos, lanen, heide nat en droog

Ik heb niks gemist, het is wel wennen dat de keuken verdeeld is over woonkamer en de keuken.
De veranda zoals op de foto is een plus punt en ligt ‘s-middags lekker in de zon.
