Nature house in Ven-Zelderheide

Our “little cottage” was great. Parc Boulée is a small and very unique park with a huge variety of accommodations.
It’s run by a very motivated and enthusiastic team. If there’s a problem, they focus on finding solutions and getting things done. A really nice team.
We were only there for a short time, so we weren’t able to properly assess the activities in the area. That’s why we just marked everything as “okay.”

Ons 'huisje' was prima. Parc Boulée is een klein en erg origineel parkje met een enorme variatie in accommodaties.
Wordt beheerd door een erg gemotiveerd/enthousiast team. Is er iets, dan wordt er vooral in oplossingen gedacht en gewerkt. Erg leuk team.
Wij waren er maar kort en daardoor niet is staat om goed over de activiteiten in de omgeving te oordelen. Daarom overal maar oké ingevuld

We stayed in the (very beautiful) Sunrise teepee. It’s quite different from a house made of stone with a hard roof, but it was a really, really fun and unique experience. Almost everything you’d find in a “regular” house is there, too—just a little different from what you’re used to.
It’s very nicely decorated, with good furniture, a comfortable bed, and a lovely shower and bathtub.
There isn’t a real kitchen, but the breakfast service and the dining options were a great substitute (though there are good coffee and tea facilities in the teepee).
The wood-burning stove (and a small emergency electric heater) provide enough heat to keep the teepee warm year-round (even in cold weather). The wood-burning stove does require some attention, though—make sure to refill it on time (and turn it down a bit at night). It’s also a bit “chatty”—the display sometimes shows some confusing messages :-)

Wij hadden de (zeer fraaie) tipi Sunrise. Wel even iets anders dan een huis van steen met hard dak erop, maar een heel heel leuke en bijzondere ervaring. Bijna alles dat je in een 'gewoon' huis vindt, is er ook, maar dan een beetje anders dan je gewend bent.
Erg leuk ingericht, goede meubels, prima bed, heerlijke douche en bad.
Alleen geen echte keuken, maar de ontbijtservice en het aanbod van horeca waren een prima vervanging (wel goede koffie/thee faciliteiten in de tipi).
Er is met een palletkachel (en een nood-elektrisch kacheltje) voldoende verwarming om de tipi het hele jaar (ook bij koud weer) warm te houden. Palletkachel vraagt wel wat aandacht. Op tijd bijvullen (en 's nachts dus wat lager zetten). Verder is hij wat 'praterig', het display geeft soms wat onbegrijpelijke berichten :-)

Tipi Sunrise is truly a special place to stay! The tent is tastefully decorated and fully equipped. The comfortable box-spring bed is a dream to sleep in, the rain shower is wonderful, and the cozy sitting area, dining area, pellet stove, coffee maker, and minibar make your stay even more comfortable. Of course, there’s also a toilet and sink.

The absolute highlight is the lovely bathtub, from which you have a beautiful view of the meadow. There’s no TV, but that’s exactly what allows you to completely unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a while.

The combination of luxury, ambiance, nature, and tranquility makes Tipi Sunrise a truly special place to stay. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to get away from it all!

Tipi Sunrise is echt een bijzondere plek om te verblijven! De tent is sfeervol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het heerlijke boxspringbed slaapt fantastisch, de regendouche is heerlijk en ook de gezellige zithoek, eethoek, pelletkachel, koffiezetapparaat en minibar maken het verblijf extra comfortabel. Uiteraard zijn er ook een toilet en wastafel aanwezig.

Het absolute hoogtepunt is het heerlijke ligbad, van waaruit je prachtig uitkijkt over het weiland. Een televisie ontbreekt, maar juist daardoor kom je helemaal tot rust en ontsnap je even aan de hectiek van alledag.

De combinatie van luxe, sfeer, natuur en rust maakt Tipi Sunrise tot een heel bijzondere overnachting. Zeker een aanrader voor wie er even helemaal tussenuit wil!

I stayed a few days at Parc Boulée in the Sunrise Tipi, which has a wonderful bathtub—what a special experience! The welcome was very personal and thoughtful. I was shown to the tipi and given clear instructions. Dinner and breakfast could be ordered and were delivered to the tent on time. Delicious—and more than enough!

The tipi is fully equipped: a comfortable bed, rain shower, sitting area, pellet stove, dining area, coffee maker, minibar, toilet, and sink. No television—which is actually perfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a while. From the bathtub, you have a beautiful view of the meadow. Unfortunately, there was some noise from construction work one night, but there’s not much the owners can do about that.

One chair turned out to be broken, but after I reported it, both chairs were replaced immediately. That says a lot about the service!

Bas and Bernadette are incredibly kind, warm, and service-oriented people. They really make sure you have everything you need. I’ll definitely be back!

Een paar dagen verbleven op Parc Boulée in Tipi Sunrise, met heerlijk ligbad: wat een bijzondere ervaring! De ontvangst was zeer persoonlijk en attent. Ik werd naar de tipi gebracht en kreeg duidelijke uitleg. Diner en ontbijt konden worden besteld en werden op tijd bij de tent bezorgd. Heerlijk én meer dan genoeg!

De tipi is van alle gemakken voorzien: een heerlijk bed, regendouche, zithoek, pelletkachel, eethoek, koffiezetapparaat, minibar, toilet en wastafel. Geen televisie, maar juist heerlijk als je even wilt ontsnappen aan de hectiek van alledag. Vanuit het ligbad heb je prachtig uitzicht over het weiland. Eén nacht was er helaas wat overlast door werkzaamheden, maar daar kunnen de eigenaren weinig aan doen.

Een stoel bleek stuk, maar na mijn melding werden direct beide stoelen vervangen. Dat zegt veel over de service!

Bas en Bernadette zijn ontzettend lieve, warme en servicegerichte mensen. Ze zorgen er echt voor dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. Ik kom zeker nog eens terug!

What a beautiful location—a chance to get away from it all right here in our own country. Beautifully decorated tents with cozy lighting and a wonderful bath and bed!

Wat een prachtige locatie, even helemaal weg in eigen land. Mooi ingerichte tenten met sfeervolle verlichting en een heerlijk bad en bed!
