This nature house is a beautiful nature house in the Oosterduinen forest, located on a dead-end road. The idyllic house sits on a lot of over 1,000 m² and is equipped with central heating, Wi-Fi, and interactive television. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, all equipped with new mattresses. Winter and summer comforters are provided for all beds. You’ll need to bring your own bed linens. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious bathroom with a rain shower, sink, and toilet. On the ground floor, there’s a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, combination microwave, refrigerator, and gas stove. Coffee, tea, and herbal oils are provided, at least for the first few days. Under the porch, you can relax in the spacious garden, which enjoys plenty of sunshine among the trees. In the shed, you can store any bicycles you bring and charge their batteries if needed.
Nature and surroundings
Perfect for the true nature lover, as our cottage—along with several other nearby cottages—is located right in the middle of the Oosterduinen forest. You can take beautiful walks right from the cottage. Norg and the surrounding area are among the best-preserved esdorp landscapes in the Netherlands. If you head from Norg toward Westervelde, you’ll pass through the ancient primeval forest known as “Het Norgerhout.” The center of Norg, with hotels, restaurants, a supermarket, a tropical swimming pool, and more, is about 1.5 kilometers away. Norg and the surrounding area are ideal for biking or hiking. There are many beautiful biking and hiking trails to choose from. About a 20-minute drive away—14 kilometers—lies Assen, the capital of Drenthe, home to the recently renovated Asser Museum. Groningen is only 30 kilometers away and definitely worth a visit, including the Groninger Museum, which attracts visitors from all over the world thanks to its exceptional art collection!

Perfect for unwinding
Ideaal om tot rust te komen
Lovely little cottage
A few things that could be improved:
The high step at the front door, and the sliding door is hard to open
Other than that, everything was there—even coffee, tea, etc., for the first few daysHeerlijk huisje
Wel wat verbeter punten:
Het hoge opstapje bij de voordeur en de schuifpui gaat moeilijk open
Verder was alles aanwezig zelfs koffie thee etc voor de eerste dagenThis text is automatically translated. -

Well-maintained cottage, fairly fully furnished, large, beautiful garden. It's great that there are window screens!
Goed onderhouden huisje, vrij compleet ingericht, grote mooie tuin. Fijn dat er horren zijn!
Beautifully situated, very quiet surroundings.
Mooi gelegen, erg stille omgeving.

It's a lovely little house. It has everything you need. We slept wonderfully on the box spring. The sliding door to the garden does open, but it's a bit stiff.
Het is een heerlijk huisje. Alles zit er op en er aan. Wij hebben heerlijk geslapen op de boxspring. De schuifdeur naar de tuin gaat wel open, maar gaat redelijk stroef.
The area around the cottage was wonderfully peaceful, even though the various cottages are quite close together.
The surroundings are beautiful and perfect for biking. In de omgeving van het huisje was het heerlijk rustig, ondanks dat de verschillende huisjes redelijk dicht op elkaar staan.
De omgeving is mooi en heerlijk om te fietsen. This text is automatically translated.
