Staying in our two-story very large water villa also means swimming, canoeing, fishing, bird-watching, biking or taking a boat trip with our whisper boat (included in the rental price!). Enjoy the watery nature of Waterland known for its picturesque villages, romantic wooden houses, beautiful waterways and lakes. From our houseboat and private garden you have an unobstructed view of the neighboring meadow area or you can watch boats sail by from the front deck. Barbecue all year round in the outdoor kitchen of our garden pavilion. It is the perfect base for nature trips in the area but at the same time only a 15-minute drive from the center of Amsterdam. This nature house is not just another accommodation and it shows. It has the best of both worlds. This also means that with €200,- per day + €25,- per person per day + cleaning and tourist tax we are not the cheapest....
Nature and surroundings
Our houseboat is a real hiding place. Getting there requires an unforgettable last jump. Upon arrival, park your car along the waterfront opposite our mooring (free parking available) and cross the canal with our own cable ferry that you operate yourself. This way you leave the world behind and enjoy ultimate privacy. A bright, contemporary interior with three large separate bedrooms on the lower deck (each with a double bed) comfortably accommodate up to six people. A fully equipped kitchen, designer furniture and a large bathroom with double shower and bathtub complete it. It is clean and spacious, adjacent to and overlooking a Natura 2000 area, stylishly and architecturally designed yet personalized with great attention to detail. It is also our own vacation home for when we ourselves want to escape the hectic city life. So we ourselves are there often and gladly!
