Nature house in Balkbrug

From the spacious garden under the trees, enjoy the free view over the fields, the tapping of the chickens, a sheep barking. The spacious front house apartment (45 m2) for two people is located entirely on the ground floor and is part of a residential farmhouse, but there are no adjacent living spaces. In the living room of this nature house you can sit on two comfortable sofas. The double bedroom and kitchen are separate, as well as a spacious bathroom with sink and shower. In the sheltered garden there are spots in the sun and in the shade. Bicycles can be stored in a locked shed and charged for the next bike ride. And afterwards it's great to relax at the farmhouse overlooking the setting sun.

The nature house is located near the historic hamlet of Oud-Avereest, a rural community on the border of Overijssel and Drenthe, five kilometers from the village of Balkbrug. The unique nature reserve the Reestdal, situated around a meandering low moorland stream. Nearby are also Het Staphorsterbos, with a forest pond with a beach where you can swim, and the Ommerschans, a hiking area with a lot of history. There are numerous hiking and cycling routes through the beautiful surroundings. The cottage is located on a cycling node route.
