Nature house in Reeuwijk

Our Nature House is a gem located right on the Reeuwijkse Plassen and is perhaps situated in one of the most beautiful spots in the Randstad. The house is detached and thoughtfully laid out, featuring a living room with a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a toilet. The cottage offers three bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with a single bed. Additionally, our insulated sleeping shed features a sturdy bunk bed. Here, you can enjoy nature, the water, and a variety of birds. The cottage also features both an open and a covered patio with patio furniture and a lovely little lawn. From the dock, you can easily take a dip in the water and enjoy watching the boats pass by during the day, as there’s a waterway right next to the cottage. The nature house is located along a hiking trail and is a short walk from the parking lot, but this means you’re truly in the heart of nature. This house is the perfect spot for nature lovers!

Located in the heart of the Green Heart are the Reeuwijkse Plassen, a highly diverse wetland area with a wide variety of flora and fauna. The area consists of forests and meadows, among other things; a total of 13 interconnected lakes between Gouda and Reeuwijk, separated by narrow roads and swing and lift bridges. You can also enjoy beautiful long walks and bike rides in the lake area and venture out to charming spots: the “silver town” of Schoonhoven, along the Hollandsche IJssel to the lively “witches’ town” of Oudewater, and along the Meije to Nieuwkoop. For culture and city visits, the charming old town center of Gouda (a 15-minute bike ride away) is highly recommended, and the cities of The Hague, Rotterdam, and Utrecht are all within 30 km. Within walking distance (one kilometer) is a small shopping center for daily groceries. You can also rent a quiet boat nearby and head out onto the water for a day on the water.
