A unique nature house located in a wooded area. It was built entirely by the host himself with natural materials. The nature house is located in a forest on a plot of 2600m² that has been left untouched as much as possible to allow plants and animals to flourish. You wake up in an oasis of peace, with the sound of birds and -with a little luck- of squirrels.The cottage is compactly built, but looks spacious and has all modern comforts. The kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a filter coffee maker, kettle, combi-oven, fridge freezer and ceramic hob. The house is heated with a high-efficiency wood stove. Bed linen and bath and kitchen textiles are provided. Because of the natural water purification system, only biodegradable products (soap, shampoo and detergent) can be used. These are therefore provided for guests.
Nature and surroundings
In the immediate vicinity you can go hiking, horseback riding and cycling in forests and through the polders. Located near Sint-Niklaas, Antwerp and Ghent, this place is the ideal base to discover these Belgian cities of culture. Hamadryad is close to the border with the Netherlands, allowing you to enjoy both the East Flanders forests and the Zeeland polders. Discover the picturesque harbor villages of Zeeland (such as Zierikzee, Vlissingen and Goes). In just a 45-minute drive, you're on the Dutch coast!

Carl September 14, 2020 General rating:Alles was aanwezig, zelfs koffie, thee, suiker, olie, koffiezet en waterkoker. Behalve een droogrek.
Nature, peace & environment:De omgeving brengt je zeker tot rust, minpuntje was wel het achtergrondgeluid van het afrijden van de maïs, soms een ganse nacht.

Anner August 20, 2020 General rating:De fotos kunnen het ongelofelijke vakmanschap dat in dit huisje gestoken maar amper vatten. Het is ook groter dan lijkt op de fotos en super goed uitgerust! Over alle aspecten is erg goed nagedacht en de smaakvolle inrichting draagt zeker bij tot het tot rust komen. Let op: om het tweepersoonsbed te bereiken moet je gebruik maken van een stijl trapje, misschien niet voor iedereen geschikt. Eigenaar heeft heel wat tips voor leuke activiteiten in de buurt en voor wie echt niet kan of wil disconnecten is er zelfs snel internet aanwezig...
Nature, peace & environment:Dankzij de slimme orientatie van het huisje waan je je echt diep in het bos! Aanrader om gewoon op het terras te zitten, tot rust te komen en te turen wat er allemaal rondom het huisje gebeurd...
