On the Hondsrug, in the middle of the woods between Valthe and Exloo lies our detached vacation home on the edge of the Hunzebergen vacation park. From the nature house and from both terraces you have a panoramic view over the farmlands. The nature house has two spacious bedrooms and a box bed, sleeping six in total. Both upstairs bedrooms have comfortable single box-spring beds and comforters. In an annex to the living room you will find a box bed with doors that close off, with a bed of 1m60 by 2m00, a party for the children. Of course, also extremely suitable for adults who have difficulty climbing stairs. Our cottage is equipped with WiFi and Ziggo cable television. There is also a Senseo and nespresso available. Pets are not allowed

In the vicinity you can make beautiful walks or bike tours, through the forests or across the Drenthe moors, where you will encounter several sheep herds in the summer. Near the park in the Hunzebos, for example, begins the Sabeltandtijgerspoor, a play route for young and old with all kinds of challenges. For seasoned hikers, the Leewalroute (8km) begins next to the park. There are also plenty of cycling routes to be found and bicycles can be rented by arrangement. Within walking distance you will find an 18-hole golf course. Do you prefer to discover the cultural side? Then consider the Veenpark, the Hunebedden, the Drents Museum, Camp Westerbork, Klooster Ter Apel or the prison museum in Veenhuizen. Or how about the new zoo Wildlands, Kabouterland in Exloo, Jumpstyle or adventure park Drouwenerzand? If you prefer swimming, you can do so in the open-air swimming pool de Leewal (1.5km). Feel like shopping? Come town in Emmen, Assen or Groningen and discover these beautiful old cities!
