Nature house in Grolloo

The nature house is stylish, rustic and comfortably furnished. There is a sleeping area in the form of a box bed. Under the bed is a large drawer for storage. There is also a cozy sitting area and a cooking area with a stove and a cooler. The outside is painted by Merel Jonkheid and shows a beautiful and wide panorama of the surroundings combined with a picture of the front man of Cuby and the Blizzards, Harry Muskee. Sanitary facilities can be found on the grounds. Facilities: -One double bed -Decks, pillows and bed linen (mandatory rental) -Coffee/tea facilities -Social seating inside -Pots, pans, plates, cutlery, glasses etc. -Kitchenette with a 3-burner gas stove and sink -Jerry can filled with fresh water -Refrigerator -Eventual gas stove -Outdoor Cooking stove

The nature house is located in the middle of the Geopark the Hondsrug and National Park Drentsche Aa on a quiet former farmyard. Right next to the property is the historic Grollerholt, and the forestries Heart of Drenthe and Hondsrug with the diversity of forests, heaths, sand drifts and stream valleys are a Valhalla for nature lovers, cyclists, hikers and other Outdoor enthusiasts. There is an extensive network of cycling, equestrian and hiking trails, the varied nature and picturesque villages make it complete. Stores are a few minutes drive or cycling in Grolloo, Rolde and Borger. In the immediate vicinity you will find the Boomkroonpad, a climbing and outdoor park, Kamp Westerbork and much more.....
