Nature house in Oosterhesselen

Beautiful location. We were warmly welcomed and shown around. The garden is spacious and gives you a sense of freedom. It’s in a quiet area, yet close to the village and the nearby ice cream farm.
The pool was wonderful on those hot days. The CCTV system was clearly explained.
The cottage is a bit old-fashioned in some ways, but everything is in good order. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and that’s enough. The interior spaces aren’t very large, but for a peaceful getaway, that’s all you need.

Mooie ligging. Vriendelijk ontvangen en wegwijs gemaakt. De tuin is riant en geeft een vrij gevoel. Rustige ligging en toch snel bij het dorp of ijs boerderij in de buurt.
Het zwembad was met de warme dagen heerlijk. Camera toezicht is netjes toegelicht hoe dit werkt.
Het huisje is op sommige fronten een stapje terug in de tijd maar alles netjes in orde. Wat je nodig hebt voor een comfortabel verblijf is er en dat is genoeg. De binnenruimtes zijn niet heel groot maar voor een rustig verblijf heb je niet meer nodig.

Beautiful location just outside the village. The spacious garden with a pool is wonderful. The cottage isn't the most modern, but it has everything you need.

Mooie ligging net buiten het dorp. De riante tuin met zwembad is heerlijk. Huisje is niet het modernste maar wel als wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.

The wind rustling through the trees, plenty of space for our toddler to play in the (well-maintained) garden, various sunny and shady spots, and we enjoyed the saltwater pool. We were lucky to have a week with temperatures ranging from 26 to 32 degrees. The pool provided much-needed cooling and water fun.
It was very pleasant in the garden. And on an early, somewhat chilly morning, the water at 28 degrees felt just the right temperature—nice and warm.

The three bedrooms are in the shade starting late morning. In the evening, they’re therefore a lot cooler than the living room/kitchen, which is also nice.

The cottage itself is small and a bit dated, but clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped—it even has an indoor laundry room with a washing machine. The double bed (140x200) is comfortable. We slept well—which is always nice on vacation.


And if you don’t want to rent a villa with a pool, but rather a pool with a cozy cottage and a lovely garden in beautiful surroundings—where you can hear the birds in the morning and stargaze in the evening—this is exactly what you’re looking for.

Het was zeer aangenaam in de tuin. En op een vroege, wat frisse ochtend voelt het water met 28 graden juist weer lekker warm aan.

De 3 slaapkamers liggen vanaf einde ochtend in de schaduw. In de avond daarmee een stuk koeler dan de woonkamer/keuken, ook prettig.

Het huisje zelf is petit en ietwat gedateerd, maar schoon, verzorgd en compleet, zelfs een inpandig washok met wasmachine. Het tweepersoonsbed (140x200) is goed. Goede nachtrust gehad, ook fijn op vakantie.


En als je geen villa met zwembad wilt huren, maar een zwembad met een fijn huisje en een heerlijke tuin in een prachtige omgeving, waar je ‘s ochtends de vogels hoort en in de avond sterren kunt kijken, is dit wat je wil.

The host gave us a warm welcome. Everything we needed was there. The pool is a breath of fresh air, and there’s plenty of space to get away from it all to read a good book or simply listen to the sounds of nature. We slept wonderfully and woke up without any back pain :) The mattresses are perfect. The cottage was clean.

Leuke ontvangst door de gastheer. Alles is aanwezig. Het zwembad is een verademing en voldoende plek om je af te zonderen voor het lezen van een goed boek of gewoonweg te luisteren naar de flora en fauna. Heerlijk geslapen en zonder rugklachten opgestaan:) matrassen zijn perfect. Het huisje was schoon.

It was wonderful to relax in an oasis of tranquility. Beautiful hiking trails just around the corner. The garden is beautifully maintained.

Het was heerlijk bijkomen in een oase van rust. Mooie wandelroutes om de hoek. De tuin is mooi onderhouden.
