In half of this farmhouse, the landlords have created a vacation home of about 90m2 on the ground floor. The nature house consists of a spacious living room, large kitchen, bedroom with adjacent terrace/garden room. Bathroom with shower and sink; the toilet is separate. From both the living room, the kitchen and the bedroom you can walk outside to enjoy the sun on one of the three terraces. The farm is located on the edge of the built-up area in the countryside, a quiet area / water catchment area, which makes this a beautiful Dutch polder, ideal for cyclists (200 km. marked bicycle routes). There also lives a young family with their cat, dog and chickens and there is parking for one car in the yard. Stores are easily accessible by bike and car or even on foot in 15 minutes.
Nature and surroundings
The Krimpenerwaard, located in the green heart, still has many monuments and beautiful villages and towns like Schoonhoven, mills (also Kinderdijk is nearby)rivers like the Vlist and the Lek and is also a bird area. In the farmyard are kingfishers, mockingbirds and several owls spotted. In the polder are many meadow and water birds. Lively Gouda (12 km away), with its cheese market and sights, is also well worth a visit. And what about the products you can buy from the farms such as cheese, milk, strawberries, eggs, etc.?
