A new and modern vacation home(s), completely free at the edge of a new nature reserve. Stylishly furnished with 100 m2 'less is more'. The canopy of 35 m2 offers a generous view of 'stress is (no) more'. All this safely scraping against the floodplains of the Meuse. Of the two bedrooms, only 1 is in use as a bedroom, with a double bed (size 140x200, with folded instead of ironed bedding). The cottage is intended for max 2 persons. Bed linen and (standard) 4 towels are not included. In low and high season, during vacations and public holidays we apply different rates.
Nature and surroundings
At over 550 hectares, Maaspark Ooijen-Wanssum is the largest contiguous area of Maas nature in Limburg. White swans and black geese graze there along with Scottish Highlanders. North Limburg is the region of busy versus idle days. But also the region of a day of adventure in one of the many nearby amusement parks, or burgundy buffeting and unlimited enjoyment of home-grown regional products. Nearby are the Arcen Castle Gardens with a multifaceted flower and plant park. On short distance Thermaalbad Arcen. The Reindersmeer is a breathtaking nature reserve on the edge of the opposite Maas village of Well and was created by not too economical sand excavation in days gone by. With an educational visitor center in the old sluice box. Here you can recover from all the impressions with a snack and a drink and, if desired, take in all the remaining information.
