Looking for a rustic, unique and cozy place in nature? Then this is what for you or yours! The cottage has a lovely bright living room with French doors to the garden, a kitchen and a beautiful bedroom! That will be nice to enjoy the fine garden, with a little luck you can spot pied flycatchers, woodpeckers or squirrels! Less than 50 meters from the cottage you walk straight into the Cape woods!
Nature and surroundings
It was love at first sight, this nature house is really in the green and has company of 100-thousand birds and squirrels. The cottage is located in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, in other words in green Holland. Watch Tower the Cape is just steps away (2 kilometers) and on a clear day you can see Utrecht and Amersfoort. Both cities of course worth a visit! Getting around Bus line 50 to and from Utrecht is 500 meters from the cottage. This bus also passes the Driebergen-Zeist train station.

Nature, peace & environment:De rust was redelijk. Binnen was het goed rustig vanwege dubbele beglazing. Het huisje ligt in een groen park met vele andere huisjes. Je kan direct eenmooi bosgebied inlopen. Gevarieerd bos. Met eventuele uitgezette wandelingen

Rob General rating:Het is een klein, aantrekkelijk huisje met net genoeg comfort en gemakken. Het grootste plus is de ligging, die ik ook al bij het natuuromgeving beschrijf. Verder waren alle faciliteiten in het huisje goed verzorgd, met uitzondering van de afwezigheid van een koffiezetapparaat (maar wel een koffieschep). Er zaten ook enkele hooiwagens in de badkamer, wat mij persoonlijk niet stoorde, maar mensen met een spinnenfobie wellicht wel. Nog een positief punt om mee af te sluiten: ondanks dat het om een contactloze ontmoeting ging was er wel een mapje klaargelegd door de eigenaren met informatie en tips geschreven in een uitnodigende, hartelijke toon.
Nature, peace & environment:Doorn ligt aan de Utrechtse Heuvelruggen, dus aan natuur geen gebrek. Als je in bent voor lange boswandelingen kun je je daar eindeloos in verliezen. Het huisje zelf ligt misschien in een park, maar is ook omringt door bomen, waardoor je je evengoed in de natuur waant. Voor liefhebbers van bossen en dieren spotten is dit een goede keuze.

M. General rating:Prima huisje voor een paar dagen weg. Goed verzorgd, schoon. Mooie uitvalsplaats voor wandelingen.
Nature, peace & environment:Heerlijke omgeving, midden in de bossen. Goede plek om tot rust te komen.
