This cozy apartment is located in a part of the farmhouse that used to be a cowshed and has its own entrance and terrace. The comfortable beds are already made for you. Furthermore, there are two comfortable chairs where you can read a book or watch a DVD at your leisure. Breakfast is served at the spacious dining table and, weather permitting, on the terrace. In the modern kitchen you can make your own breakfast or prepare another meal. There is a stove available. If desired, we can serve breakfast at the dining room table or on the terrace. Do you have your laptop with you? WIFI is available with us as a matter of course. The television also has an internet connection. Furthermore, you have access to a modern equipped spacious shower and private toilet.

Ruinerwold is an authentic Drenthe village in a landscape consisting of alternating meadows, woods, heathland, creek valleys around small-scale villages. The area offers numerous opportunities for walking, cycling (cycling junction 60 is 100 meters from us) and horseback riding. Within walking distance are fishing ponds De Woldstek and Pitch and Putt Koekange. What you should not miss is the breathtaking Reestdal on the border of Drenthe and Overijssel. Furthermore, just steps away are three large National Parks: Dwingelderveld, Drents-Friese Wold and Weerribben-Wieden. If it rains there is also plenty to do, such as visiting museums, galleries, the many bric-a-brac stores nearby or going out or shopping in Meppel and Zwolle.In the immediate vicinity are several tasteful restaurants to find such as Eetcafé De Kastelein in Ruinerwold, Luning's in Ruinen, Ludiek in Havelte, Tante Ans in Ansen, Boschzicht in Echten.
