You will stay in a guesthouse without breakfast. The stay is surrounded by a private garden and provided with a private parking space. The French doors give a view of the greenery that surrounds our yard. The other residents are squirrels, owls and many (singing) birds. Sometimes a hare or hedgehog. On the way to the B&B you pass a meadow where horses regularly run and graze. The nature house is suitable for a maximum of 3 persons. The nature house is modernly decorated in contemporary colors and with attention to atmosphere and comfort. The accommodation is well insulated. When it is cold in autumn, winter or spring, you heat the room with a lovely and energy-efficient pellet stove. The electricity is green, the bedding from natural materials and we separate the waste as much as possible. Wifi and TV are of course available, but maybe the environment will encourage you to go offline for a while? It is also possible to book a painting workshop with the owner.

This Nature House is located in the hamlet of Sterkenburg, a predominantly agricultural area situated against the forests of the Utrecht Ridge. Nearby you will find several places that are well worth a visit. For example, combine your visit with a visit to the beautiful estate Kraaybeekerhof in Driebergen (5 minutes away by car), the National Tree Museum (within walking distance), biodynamic care farm De Hondspol or the historic vegetable garden of Bartimeus (both also within walking distance). In addition, you can reach the beautiful Moersbergen estate with alternating woods, grasslands and farmland on foot. There are numerous other possibilities such as a visit to Doorn Castle, Parc Broekhuizen, Amerongen Castle or one of the other many castles. All within short driving or biking distance. And you can walk and bike endlessly in the surrounding beautiful old forests and in the open river landscape of the Kromme Rijn (with new hiking trails!).
