Staying overnight in a Pod offers the best of both worlds: the authentic camping experience and the comfort of luxury accommodations. Campers often refer to this as “glamping.” Thanks to the carefully selected materials and unique design, staying in a Pod feels both adventurous and cozy. For traditional campers and modern vacationers alike, a Pod is a wonderful place to stay for a long or short vacation. Our charming campground features four pods, generously spaced throughout the grounds. Each Pod offers a beautiful, sweeping view. You can relax outdoors at the picnic table or on a lounge chair and enjoy the peace and quiet. Every nature house is equipped with made-up box-spring beds. Sheep’s wool is used for insulation, and each Pod is also equipped with a heater. This ensures the temperature stays nice and cozy even in winter. Right behind the Pods is the luxurious restroom building and the cozy breakfast room, where you can enjoy a hearty regional breakfast for a fee.

At our charming campground, you can relax and enjoy the great outdoors. The surrounding area, with its forests, fields, meadows, and water, is very diverse. It’s located along the Zuiderwaterlinie between the Terheijden and Den Hout sections and lies at the foot of De Biesbosch National Park. It also offers a delightful combination of city and nature, as the heart of Breda, the smaller town of Oosterhout, and the port of Drimmelen are all just 9 km away and definitely worth a visit. The Efteling and Beekse Bergen are also located 35 km from Munnickenheide. Every fourth Sunday of the month, there is a guided walk starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 11:00 a.m. There is a microbrewery on the premises. If the brewers are at work, you’re more than welcome to stop by and take a look. You can always sample these special beers.
