The surrounding area offers endless opportunities for hiking and biking. The nature house is equipped with every luxury and comfort, providing the perfect setting to relax. Nature and surroundings

Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park is one of the 21 national parks in the Netherlands and is the second-largest forested area in the country. “150,000 years ago, ice and water pushed up masses of earth and rocks, forming a ridge in the heart of the Netherlands. Standing on this ridge, you’re in the largest forest in the Randstad and have a view of the river landscape. Here, history is palpable everywhere. This is due not only to the many estates and castles but also to the area’s significant military history. Thanks to its location and beauty, the Utrechtse Heuvelrug has been a place where people have come to relax and recharge for centuries. It’s no coincidence that wealthy city dwellers built their country estates right here—close to the city yet surrounded by nature. Here, history is cherished, while at the same time everyone can experience the ridge in their own way.

A very nice house. The coffee maker was a bit tricky to set up at first, but after a few tries and using our own coffee beans, it worked great!

Located in the middle of a forest, with a beautiful garden. We heard and saw many different birds. The hosts were very friendly and lived right near the cottage.
We slept upstairs. The beds were comfortable. The only thing missing was a bathroom upstairs.
