This nature house is a vacation home with all the amenities for an independent and eco-friendly stay. With a compact kitchen, sitting area and fine beds a wonderful place. Beautifully situated at the edge of our paradise garden of 1800 m2! The garden has all kinds of nooks where you can sit, a bbq and fire pit. In the back you will find a koi pond and fire pit and also a barbecue. The many trees give a park-like impression. The garden is a bird paradise, the green woodpecker and nuthatch are regularly spotted and in the spring the many birdhouses are all occupied. Nice to find a place and not on a large vacation park you will find peace here. The cottage is located separately from the house in the garden, 35 meters away there is another cottage in the garden concealed. Before and after your stay the location is cleaned very thoroughly. You can book a maximum of 2 extra persons. Bed linen and towels provided. Pick up key at the residence on arrival.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located on the outskirts of the hamlet of Schandelo. Near the longest nature park in the Netherlands the Maasduinen. This is a guarantees for many nature experiences. Opposite we have sown our large meadow with a bee flower mixture and a food forest is growing. At 1 km. from our location is the Black Water, a fine hiking trail. Also look for the tree frog colony, one of two in the Netherlands, or go to the dragonfly sanctuary De Ravenvennen at 4 km. Visit the castle gardens in Arcen, some years ago voted the most beautiful park in the Netherlands. Your host has many tips for cycling and hiking in the vicinity. You can rent bikes from us.
