Nature house in Vortum-Mullem

This nature house is located in the small Brabant village of Vortum-Mullem, not far from the border with Limburg and the national border with Germany. Venlo and Nijmegen are half an hour away. We are situated in the unique UNESCO Man & Biosphere Reserve De Maasheggen. The nature reserve, part of the Land of Cuijk is an ultimate place for hikers and cyclists. You will stay in a unique, architecturally built field pavilion. This contains two studios. Containing all facilities to stay free and independent. Through the huge glass front, you will fully enjoy the nature around you. In addition to the pavilion, the nature house also has a B&B. The studio is suitable for 2 persons plus possibly 2 children (sofa bed). The additional cost for 1 or 2 children is 15 Euro p.p.p.n.Coffee and tea are offered. Coffee is brewed in a Stelton cafetiere. Bed linen and towels included.

UNESCO Man & Biosphere area The Maasheggen is unique in the Netherlands. You will find here the last remnants of an ancient custom, namely the weaving of (hawthorn) hedges into cattle barriers. This old craft and the hedges themselves had all but disappeared. The hedges, together with the drinking pools for the cattle, form a special biosphere for all kinds of plants and animals.
