This nature house is located in the small Brabant village of Vortum-Mullem, not far from the border with Limburg and the national border with Germany. Venlo and Nijmegen are half an hour away. We are situated in the unique UNESCO Man & Biosphere Reserve De Maasheggen. The nature reserve, part of the Land of Cuijk is an ultimate place for hikers and cyclists. You will stay in a unique, architecturally built field pavilion. This contains two studios. Containing all facilities to stay free and independent. Through the huge glass front, you will fully enjoy the nature around you. In addition to the pavilion, the nature house also has a B&B. The studio is suitable for 2 persons plus possibly 2 children (sofa bed). The additional cost for 1 or 2 children is 15 Euro p.p.p.n.Coffee and tea are offered. Coffee is brewed in a Stelton cafetiere. Bed linen and towels included.
Nature and surroundings
UNESCO Man & Biosphere area The Maasheggen is unique in the Netherlands. You will find here the last remnants of an ancient custom, namely the weaving of (hawthorn) hedges into cattle barriers. This old craft and the hedges themselves had all but disappeared. The hedges, together with the drinking pools for the cattle, form a special biosphere for all kinds of plants and animals.

Mooi huisje, met glazen wand rondom. Dus bij opstaan was het al best licht in het huis.
Toen we aankwamen lag er wel veel stof overal.
Prima bed om in te slapen, wel jammer dat het twee éénpersoons bedden waren.
Er is weinig kastruimte.
Verder is het een met veel liefde ingericht huisje en er is goed nagedacht over het maken van een bijzonder plekje.Mooie omgeving om fietstochten te maken. Meer natuur dan cultuur.

Architectonisch heel bijzonder. Soms niet even praktisch. Je slaapt in een uitgesproken ontwerp met veel lichtinval en een schitterend uitzicht.

Zeer vriendelijke, gastvrije en meedenkende gastheer. Fijne studio, met alles erop en eraan voor een ontspannen verblijf. ‘Groene’ insteek en zeer stijlvol design van het complex. Genoeg privacy en prachtig uitzicht op de tuin en landerijen. Door al deze factoren was onze 1e ‘vakantie’ met onze newborn een succes!
Zeer bijzondere omgeving i.v.m. het heggenlandschap. Rust, ruimte en natuur volop aanwezig.
