Nature house in Lopik

Our nature house was formerly a 100-year-old wagon barn and stands in the yard of our monumental farmhouse dating back to 1610. The sleeping floor is under the original old beams, with a headroom in the middle of 1.95 meters. There are 2 boxsprings of 80 x 200 which can be either against each other or separately. If the bed is set up as a double bed, you have to get into bed via the footboard. If the beds are separated there is a path of 60 cm with headroom of 1.95 meters. Through the balustrade you can look down into the living area. The upper floor is accessible via a good fixed staircase. The bathroom is small, but equipped with a wonderful (rain) shower and beautiful sink with 2 drawers. There is a separate toilet. Downstairs there is another bedroom with a single bed and closet. The single bed can be tilted, so that a crib or a camp bed can be placed. Bed linen, kitchen linen and towels are provided.

The vacation home is in a beautiful spot, right on the river Lek. Through the floodplains you walk in a few minutes to the various small beaches on the Lek. You can also make beautiful walks and bike rides here. In the immediate vicinity are several attractions such as earth monument "the Sphere", Nature Museum the Wielewaal, the Cabauw Mill and the beautiful silver town of Schoonhoven with its many silversmiths, workshops, cafes and stores. A little further away, but within a half hour drive are Kinderdijk with its many windmills, Rotterdam and Utrecht.
