In the Kop van Overijssel lies our spacious guesthouse. Through a dirt road and driveway you reach our guesthouse with private parking. Through the private terrace with French doors you enter a very spacious cozy living room with comfortable sofa, wood stove and piano. At the dining table you have a beautiful view through our berceau and look across the meadow towards the nearby geological monument. The kitchenette is equipped with fridge and hob(2p), oven, kettle and filter coffee maker. On the first floor of the nature house is a bathroom with towels, rain shower and bathtub and a spacious bedroom with made-up double box spring and beautiful views over meadows and woods. The garden surrounding the cottage is park-like, completely fenced and equipped with an electrically operated gate. Due to the presence of beautiful old trees, (berry-) bushes and (fruit) trees around the lawn and terraces, there is a lot of privacy and the garden offers space for many birds.
Nature and surroundings
The guesthouse is situated in a rural setting a stone's throw from the Woldberg, De Eese estate and within cycling distance of Steenwijk and Giethoorn. The guesthouse is located between the railroad and the highway (A32), but you will notice little of that. Cities such as Zwolle and Leeuwarden are 30 minutes away by car. The beautiful natural and varied environment was formed in the ice age and consists of densely wooded areas such as the Woldberg and De Eese which are interspersed with the lakes and ponds of De Wieden and De Weerribben around Giethoorn, Ossenzijl and Blokzijl.
