The nature house is located in the outskirts of Sint-Oedenrode in a very quiet rural and wooded area. In a separate guesthouse next to our Brabant long-gabled farmhouse are 2 apartments. Apartment de Bieswey has a bedroom with 2 single beds, a separate sitting area, TV, free WiFi, barrier-free bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchenette, private entrance, all ground floor and a large terrace with adjacent garden and natural pool. You must take into account rather low ceilings (2 m). Smoking is only allowed outside. The farm (no longer a farm for quite some time) is one of the oldest in the hamlet of Vressel. Probably the old manor house Ter Molenstraete stood here already before 1500. Farm and guesthouse are surrounded by approximately 5000 m2 of land including orchard, frog pool, vegetable garden and a large ornamental garden with several ponds and various native plants. Nature and surroundings
Our garden borders the basin of the strongly meandering river Dommel with its low lying meadows, but also remarkably high river dunes of about 5 meters high, formed in the early ice age. Besides cows, sheep and horses, even beavers and sturdy water buffalo can be spotted in this area. Other beautiful natural areas in our immediate vicinity include the Vressels forest with the Hazenputten, the Moerkuilen and Mosbulten. Sint-Oedenrode is located at the edge of National Landscape Het Groene Woud, a 35000 hectare area in the city triangle of Eindhoven, Tilburg and 's-Hertogenbosch with lots of nature, woods and heathland, beautiful villages, historical sights and a typical poplar landscape. Some well-known nature reserves in this triangle are the Scheeken and the Mortelen with their red deer and a little further away the Campina and the Loonsche and Drunense Dunes.
