Nature house in Holten

Welcome to this nature house, a wooden forest cabin offering 100% privacy on 1,000 m² of private land near the Holterberg in Holten. This is not a vacation park. Sauna and jacuzzi available as optional extras. The nature house accommodates 2 people and features 1 bedroom with a sink and a 140x200 m bed. There is a cozy living room with a wood stove, a spacious corner sofa, a coffee table, and a dining/work bar with two bar stools. There is a TV and fiber-optic internet. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a 4-burner gas stove, a dishwasher, and a combination microwave. A freezer is available for use in the shed. Bicycles can also be stored there and charged if needed. The nature house has a bathroom with a shower and toilet. There’s a lovely porch with a lounge area. All windows have roller shutters, there’s central heating, and the house is wonderfully warm. Surrounding the house is a sunny, fenced-in garden where you’ll always find a spot in the sun or shade. Patio tables and chairs are available. On-site parking for 2 cars. Come unwind!

Holten has a charming village center with shops (open even on Sundays), a few (sunny) restaurants, and an excellent bakery! For hikers, cyclists, and mountain bikers, it’s a paradise, featuring, of course, the Sallandse Heuvelrug, the Holterberg, the Pieterpad, as well as the “De Borkeld” hiking area with the restored Elsenerveen, where many birds forage and where the lapwing, among others, nests. Water nestled among the forests and heathland (with flocks of sheep and juniper bushes)—a truly unique area! Starting from the Vianenweg, the “World Time Trail” runs, featuring various facts for each year (from 800) to the present, neatly marked with signs. For drivers, there’s the ANWB “Salland Route,” a 125-km-long route that runs through the Sallandse Heuvelrug (40 km/h) to Nijverdal. Just 2 km from our house is a fantastic dog pond where dogs play and their owners enjoy picnics and a chat. Perfect for warm days! Ommen, the Vecht River, the Regge River, and Deventer—all just 30 minutes away—make it the perfect getaway!
